About the Green Intellectual Property Project
The Green Intellectual Property (GIP) Project was established in
2004 in Maryland, USA / Washington, D.C. by Itaru Nitta, and now it
is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Itaru is currently the
Chair of the GIP Project and also a senior patent engineer in a
Japanese IP law firm. Since his graduation in 1988, Itaru has
dedicated himself to innovation and IP affairs by serving as an
inventor, IP manager and patent expert in a wide variety of both
public and private institutions. He holds BS and MS in Chemistry,
MA in International Service and Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
